Doris Heritage Park Playground

Location: 10550 Harbor Hills DR, Gig Habor, WA 

R&R Construction completed the playground equipment installation at Doris Heritage Park within the Gig Harbor Sports Complex in Gig Harbor, Washington. The playground features an inclusive, maritime-themed play environment designed for children ages 2–12, including a large ship-style play structure, climbers, slides, interactive play elements, and accessible swings.

PlayCreation supplied Landscape Structures® equipment, and the playground is finished with synthetic turf safety surfacing, providing a durable and accessible play space for the community.

Sprinker Park Playground

Location: 14824 C Street S, Tacoma, WA

R&R Construction Inc. completed the playground equipment installation at Sprinker Park in Tacoma, Washington.

The project included equipment supplied by Berliner, Playcraft, and Freenotes Harmony Park. Installed features included a custom tower structure, triple swing set with belt seats, toddler seats, and a nest swing, a Playcraft RV5 (ages 2–5) play system, Spin Max Pod, Friendship Spinner Bubbles, and a Turbo Trotter. Musical play elements installed included Calypso, Imbarimba, and Tuned Drums.

This project provides a well-rounded play environment supporting active play, sensory engagement, and inclusive recreation for children of multiple age groups.

Chief Leschi School Playground

Location: 5625 52nd Street E, Puyallup, WA

R&R Construction completed the playground equipment installation at Chief Leschi School in Puyallup, Washington. The project included the installation of a Playworld Systems PlayMaker play structure featuring a variety of climbing, balancing, and overhead play elements designed to support active and engaging play.

Additional site features installed include Spintastic equipment, curved balance beams, and site furnishings, creating a well-rounded play environment that encourages physical development, coordination, and strength for students.

South Park Plaza Playground

Location: 8456 Dallas Avenue S, Seattle, WA 98108

R&R Construction completed the playground equipment installation at South Park Plaza in Seattle, Washington. The project included the installation of KOMPAN playground equipment, featuring a custom Robinia climber, a spinner plate, and a spinner bowl, providing a mix of climbing, spinning, and balance-based play opportunities.

The playground was finished with poured-in-place (PIP) safety surfacing, creating a durable, accessible, and low-maintenance play environment designed to meet current safety standards and support long-term community use.
